My previous book photo challenge was posted in March. As I
mentioned then, it’s my aim to post two of these personal challenges per year.
This post fulfills that goal.
The number
that seems to work well for my photos is 17, so that is how many books are in
this photo yet again. I will donate $5/book, and it will go to the Sunday
School Fund at my local church. It will benefit more than one organization. As
well as benefitting the Sunday School when supplies are needed, these funds get
used to buy donations for the local Salvation Army’s Christmas toy drive.
For so
many, the struggle continues to be very real, and I know we lead busy lives. It’s
understandable if you can’t commit to volunteerism every week, but if you can
help out somewhere once a month or every few months, that counts, too. Area
organizations are always looking for monetary donations, as it’s likely they
can stretch those dollars further than we can. If you’re looking to donate
specific goods, please ask your local charities what is most needed and/or is
often overlooked. Please help how you can and lift others up every day.
